I’m Maria Yordanova, a 21 year old bulgarian, studying Communication and Multimedia Design in the Netherlands.

I incorporate both traditional and modern mediums, often mixing analog and digital approaches. I want to build a bridge between design and art by creating things that are pretty, purposeful and functional.

My work mostly revolves around motion and visual design, with a focus on the human experience. My main goal as a designer is to bring people the comfort of knowing that they’re not alone in what they’re experiencing.

My openess and curiousity allow me to find inspiration in any place, day and time and my empathetic mindset makes me a comforting and enthusiastic team member.

In the future, I want to use my experience abroad to bring a fresh perspective to the creative spaces in Bulgaria and help build the future of design in the country.
